1. Print out the four lecture posters before watching the video segments. Use these to take notes as you watch the video.
2. Go here to view the video and click on the green VoD button.  Begin watching the video at approximately 6:20 minutes into the video.  This is the comprehension lecture.  Following the comprehension lecture will be classroom segments.  These last until 25:45 minutes into the video. 
3. After you have finished viewing the classroom segments. Consider these questions:
*What reading strategies did the teachers emphasize in their instruction?
*How did the students demonstrate use of these strategies during the lessons?
*In what ways was the instruction explicit? Strategic? Which lessons clearly reflected explicit instruction? Which strategic?
*How did the lessons promote both comprehension and personal response?
