Two individuals from the IECE program, Candy Stoltz and Sarah McMaine are recipients of prestigous awards from the Division for Early Childhood of the Council for Exceptional Children.

Candy Stolz received the Rose C. Engel Award for Excellence in Professional Practice (pdf). The award is given to a DEC member who is a practicing professional and whose primary role is serving young children with special needs and their families.

Sarah McMaine received the Kathleen W. McCartan Award (pdf). The award is given to an undergraduate or masters level students who has made significant contributions through their service to the field, community, and professional organizations.
