The Task
Great! You chose Martin Luther King, Jr. Now that you have picked your important Civil Right's Leader, it's time to get busy! Your job is to research MLK and prove his importance in the Civil Right's Movement. You will need to give background information of his life, discuss what was happening in history during his lifetime, compare and contrast their life from yours today, and how he pushed for civil rights for African Americans. After you collect all of this information, your group will create a powerpoint of MLK and present it to the whole class.

The first thing that your group needs to do is to assign each group member a job.
Ravishing Reader- This person reads aloud to the group anything that is to be read.
Wonderful Writer- This person is to write or fill out any graphic organizers or anything else that is to be written out on paper.
Terrific Typist- This person is to type anything that needs to typed. Your job will require doing the powerpoint at the very end.
Super Surfer- This person is in charge of guiding the web surfing when locating information on the computer.
Lucky Leader- This person is in charge of making sure everyone is working cooperatively. You are also responsible for making sure all jobs
