#3-When Wilbur calculated how long it was going to take him to get home, he just sat right down and cried big, wet, piggy puddles because he was so tired and hungry. That's when he decided he might as well make the best of a bad situation and get something to eat. He remembered a nursery rhyme his mother had sung to him about a little piggy going to market, so he reasoned that a market must be a place where you could get something to eat.

He walked about a mile until he
came to the outskirts of a town. He stopped to ask somebody where he could
find a market, but everybody he asked just looked at him with a puzzled
look on their face. He was so discouraged! When he was about ready to give
up and lie down in a field beside the road, he spotted a building ahead
that looked like a market. With renewed energy, he picked up his pace to a
fast trot and headed in that direction. He was so excited! Food at last,
he thought to himself.
