1.  Select any topic. (pigs)

2.  Brainstorm all the vocabulary associated with that topic.  (pork, oink, ham, bacon, boar)

3.  Select any of the new vocabuary words and drop the first letter.  ham  =       am

4.  Brainstorm all the words that start with the beginning letters of the remainder of the new  word:           am    =     ambush, ambulance, America, ambassador, amnesia, etc.

5.  Make questions to fit the newly formed vocabuary list adding the previously dropped letter:

What do you call it when pigs are attacked by surprise?    a hambush

What do you call it when a pig loses his memory?         hamnesia

After an accident, what does a pig ride to the emergency room in?  a hambulance
 

Examples using the word PIG:

PIG  =    IG    = ignorant, iguana, ignition, igloo

Where do pigs live in Alaska?   pigloo

What do you call an uneducated pig?   pignorant

What do you get when you cross a pig and a lizard?  piguana

How do you start a pig?  pignition

SNOUT -  If  it does not work well to leave off the first letter, try leaving off the first two
letters.  Example:  SNOUT  = OUT == outside, outstanding, outhouse

Where do pigs like to play?  snoutside

What do you call a pig who is an overacheiver?  snoutstanding
